Latino Alumni Scholarship

The Latino Alumni Award acknowledges merit and recognizes involvement in the UIC community. The award is intended to be used for tuition and fees, participation in leadership activities and conferences, travel abroad, and other educational related expenses.
Eligibility
- Must be a current UIC undergraduate with a recommended GPA of 2.8 minimum.
- Must have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours at UIC at the time of application.
- Must be a UIC junior or senior with 60 credit hours completed.
To be considered for this award, students will need to:
- Complete the LARES Latino Alumni Scholarship online application.
- Visit http://uic.academicworks.com.
- Select “Sign In With Your Institution”.
- Complete the general UIC SnAP application.
- When finished, click on “Finish and Submit”.
- Go to the “Opportunities” tab and search “LARES Latino Alumni Scholarship”; click “Apply”.
- Complete required supplemental questions.
- Click “Finish and Submit”.
